Refresh your bathroom on a budget

Freshening up a bathroom doesn’t have to be an expensive exercise. Whether you want to spruce up the bathroom before Christmas, or the current economic uncertainty has stalled your grand bathroom renovation plans, there are a number of ways to transform your bathroom without breaking the bank. With some simple tricks, a couple of new purchases and some TLC, your bathroom will be shining.

Here are some quick ways to affordably – and most importantly, elegantly - transform your bathroom.

Storage savings
The right storage can make a huge difference to a bathroom, reducing clutter and adding some glamour. Free standing furniture and storage, such as mobile pedestal cabinets and tall boys, are practical options as you can literally roll them in without any need for carpentry. A great example is the Mizu Eight mobile unit.

Fixture fix
Replacing your outdated tapware and showerheads with stylish water efficient versions can leave your bathroom looking revitalised. Look out for the extensive Porcher range of mixers and tap sets. The Posh range of showerheads is also a great option for a family bathroom.

Accessorize
Little things can make a big difference. Just add some stunning new accessories to your bathroom and see instant results. The Milli range of soap dishes, toilet roll holders and shelves will add some sparkle to your bathroom. And if you feel like indulging yourself (just a little), consider a luxurious heated towel rail, like the Kado or Posh heated towel rail. It won’t blow the budget, but it will make a statement.

For the finishing touch, why not repaint the walls and replace your bathroom lighting? Crisp white walls and elegant lighting are the perfect way to show off your bathroom transformation! You could also add a splash of colour - with some new towels and stunning artwork your bathroom is guaranteed to sparkle.
