New Designer Basins
We are excited to welcome three new basin ranges from Alape, Germany’s leading designer and manufacturer of glassed steel basins. The Metaphor, Chrystalline and X-plicit ranges have recently arrived in Reece showrooms.
Alape pioneered glassed steel enamelling for basins in the 1920s. Every sink in the Alape range is pressed individually from a sheet of steel before being fired with a rich glass enamel glazing known as Ceramostahl. The final result is a truly superior product crafted to the highest level of German engineering precision.
The three new ranges exemplify outstanding European design and also represent a new direction in basin design.

Metaphor
The Metaphor above counter basin represents absolute purity of design. Created using a single sheet of pressed steel, a technique that is unique to Alape, the Metaphor features sharp, precise lines. Available in 500 or 750mm width.
Chrystalline
The Chrystalline range has been inspired by the crystal structure of rare rock formations, with precise lines and bold angles intersecting in a unified vision. A true multifaceted design, Chrystalline reflects the latest bathroom trends. Available as an inset or counter basin.
X-plicit
Uniquely unobtrusive yet thoroughly inviting, the X-plicit range of shallow basins demonstrates that beauty and simplicity are perfectly aligned. Available as a deep or shallow inset basin, with or without taphole.
