This year, we are so excited to reveal our 2025 bathroom trends. Created in collaboration with Tanya Buchanon, Editor-In-Chief of House & Garden magazine, the five trends reflect the latest in design trends for residential bathrooms. For those looking to renovate existing spaces, or designing a new build from scratch, it’s a fabulous touchpoint to guide creative decisions.
“Designing and renovating bathrooms can seem daunting,” says Tanya. “Like all considerable investments, we want to know that we have done our research thoroughly, scoped the available choices and selected quality that will last.”
The five trends – Contemporary Classics, Modern Australian, Wellness Sanctuary, White On White, and Colour Drenching – showcase some of Reece Bathrooms most stunning products. Whatever your home design aesthetic, you’ll find inspiration for your bathroom space. Let’s explore the five trends in more detail.
This chic look is timeless and, perhaps paradoxically, totally of the moment. Choose a statement feature to really make the space sing. Make your selection from a crafted wall-hung vanity, a sculptural mirror, or refined stone shared by walls and floor, and etch out that special feature with recessed lighting in atmospheric wall and ceiling washes.
Bring the outside in with this alluring look that’s an homage to the Australian landscape in all its variety. Think hazy greens, browns, and ochres, offset by warm neutrals, rubbing shoulders with tactile textures such as finger tiles and fluted timbers, all firmly rooted in a love of the bush and the Outback. Again celebrating rawness, tapware should be brushed and not polished.
Conjure up your very own day spa with this luxe look. It combines muted colours and refined natural materials to create a serene retreat – or perhaps treat, as it’s the ultimate indulgence. And it embraces the latest technologies to make bath time ‘me time’: think smart showers, toilets, and defogging mirrors with remote sensors, all at your fingertips to make life a breeze. You’ll love to linger longer.
Looking for that perfect coastal home elegance? The appeal of this timeless combo never fades – white on white is renowned for its freshness and purity, and is sure to lather up a light and airy ambience. Either go all white, as shown here, or add in a little pattern or a pop of colour in the tapware, basin, vanity or mirror. Lashings of white is also a great solution when natural light is at a premium.
Soak up the new monochrome—not black and white, but a celebration of one favourite colour. Think calming blues and greens, or variations on Pantone’s colour of the year: the delectable Mocha Mousse, revealed here. And, if you’re feeling brave, go moody and dark while including tonal shifts for intriguing variety. This hue of the moment is complemented bv brushed bronze tapware and vanities in oak or travertine.
