A sleek and understated space, inspired by hotel luxury with a black and white theme, Kerrie and Spence’s master ensuite wowed the judges and won lots of fans. The expansive layout featured Milli Pure Tapware and Accessories in Matte Black and a Mizu Drift Twin Rail Shower in Matte Black. Combined with large Roca Inspira Square Vessel Basins, these selections made a statement and delivered plenty of functionality.
Judges’ consensus: Elegant, functional, and glamorous. Shaynna particularly loved the ISSY Z1 Oval mirrors with shaving cabinets.
"It feels like they’ve taken it to another level. This feels spot on to me."
Bianca and Carla delivered a sophisticated, romantic ensuite featuring a double shower zone with Brushed Gunmetal Milli Pure Tapware and Accessories with a shower niche for added functionality and storage. The simple, yet sophisticated styling put Bianca and Carla in first place before the gnome play cost them two wins in a row.
Judges’ consensus: Near perfect.
"What I’m seeing here is the beauty in simplicity, where less is more."
Sara and Hayden’s ensuite was dark, broody and all-out-luxe, featuring an array of showstoppers: three distinct tiling choices, Alape Unisono Matte Black Basins, Milli Pure Wall Basin Mixer sets and a gorgeous wall-hung vanity.
Judges’ consensus: A mixture of triumph and disaster.
"It’s just not coming together for me in here."
A beautiful marble feature wall, benchtop and niche gave Jess and Norm’s ensuite a distinctive style and big impact with its seamless combination of materials, tones and textures. Products to check out include Milli Inox Stainless Steel Tapware and the Omvivo Venice Vanity for warmth and personality.
Judges’ consensus: Scaled down, but still beautiful. A "nice" bathroom that wouldn't offend any buyers on auction day.
"A small bathroom punching above its weight."
Courtney and Hans crafted a beautiful bathroom with a light, bright palette and a focus on terrazzo. Choosing the on-trend Brushed Nickel Tapware and Accessories, along with a matching Kado Lussi bath and Kado Lussi basins in a matte solid surface finish, the large open shower space and sunlit bathing area were big highlights.
Judges’ consensus: Spatially skewed, but definitely on-trend.
"For me, I think this says St Kilda."
