Week 5: Master Ensuite Week

Josh & Luke proved during master ensuite week that with a bit of creative thinking, you really can have it all. Working together with Reece, the twins created a luxurious indoor-outdoor ensuite with some serious wellness retreat vibes.

For master ensuite week we saw Luke & Josh chose to include a feature outdoor bathroom zone.

The space had the hallmarks of a luxury retreat, with well-considered materials playing with the greenery and proximity to nature to create a cohesive wellness zone.

In the indoor space, they opted for brushed nickel Mizu Drift tapware, showers, fixtures and fittings; a choice that provided contemporary consistency.

Luke & Josh kept their vanity choices consistent with their guest ensuite, including a beautiful timber ISSY Halo I vanity and two ISSY Blossom shaving cabinets, which they paired with the Z8 tallboy for extra storage. The twins cleverly connect the outdoors and inside by using the same floor tiles and their Omvivo Venice 500 solid surface basins, which connect the tactile bath and brushed nickel together for one cohesive space.

While we loved seeing the twins bring such vivid ideas to the cul-de-sac this year, it’s worth noting that the bath and tapware are not intended for outdoor application.

Week 2: Main Bathroom Week

While brand new to the renovating world, Josh & Luke made a striking first impression with this sprawling bathroom. With the belief of Reece, discover how the pair went from dreaming they could…to delivering.

The duo had the biggest space to play with this week, opting for a moody colour palette and hotel-inspired luxury. Using a variety of materials and colours, the pair created interest and intrigue from every angle with brushed nickel Mizu Drift tapware throughout.

Toning down the drama, a skylight, window and expansive ISSY Halo timber double vanity add comfort and warmth. A Kado Lussi thin-edged freestanding bath is cleverly chosen to bring softness to the space, complemented with basins from the same range.

Finally, the slimline walk-in shower space completes the hotel-like appeal of the bathroom, featuring a Milli Pure curved shower and stylish wall niche.
