The dynamic Lana, Bonnie and Erin from Three Birds Renovations attempt to transform this dated kitchen on a budget.

With the timber cabinetry in this expansive open plan kitchen still in great shape, the ladies focus on the transformative power of paint. Painting every surface with Dulux’s renovation range made it easier for the team to give the entire room a thorough refresh, including painting the splashback and kitchen tiles in an elegant shade of creamy off-white.
Bonnie chose to be frugal in certain aspects of the kitchen while splurging in others. By saving money on the cabinet handles, it allowed the team to splash out on a striking all-white Franke Impact Granite double bowl sink. While it’s a great focal point of the room, the expansion of the washing up area drastically improves the functionality of the large family kitchen. As the cherry on top, the team also included a pop of colour with a charming gold Posh Canterbury Gooseneck mixer – a nod to the heritage of the home whilst achieving a whimsical, coastal feel.
