Exposed heating coil
Get a faster and more precise weld, and the ideal heat transfer from fitting to pipe, with the FRIATEC electrofusion fittings. We use a highly efficient, exposed heating coil design that eliminates the risk of contamination through oxidation. Coils are embedded two thirds of the way along the fitting, so they cannot be dislodged. This ensures excellent gap bridging and the ideal heat penetration, for a perfect seal every time.
Longest coupler length
FRIATEC’s couplings feature extra-long fusion zones, to absorb energy and offer improved safety and stability. Our electrofusion fittings are 2.7 times longer than the minimum required standard, giving you better pipe support, better pipe alignment inside the fitting, a reduction in bending stress and a larger insertion depth at each end. The extra-long cold zones reduce bending stress and ensure no loss of melting pressure.
